Desperate to find money to pay for his floating crap game, Nathan Detroit bets Sky Masterson a thousand dollars that Sky will not be able to take a local Mission girl, Sarah Brown, to Cuba. While Sky tries to get Sarah to surrender to his charms, Nathan battles with his fiancée of fourteen years, Adelaide. But Sky soon learns that love may be the biggest gamble of all.
